Price with confidence, not guesswork

When you're listing a work and choosing a shipping option, you can now see what Artsy Shipping would actually cost a collector, before you commit.

How it works

• While listing a work, look for the “Estimate Shipping Cost” link next to Artsy Shipping.

• Click it to open the same shipping estimate widget collectors use on Artsy, then enter a destination and get a cost back.

• The estimate is based on what’s currently in your listing form, so if you update the dimensions, price, framing, or weight, the estimate updates with it. No need to save the listing first.

• The link appears once your listing has enough detail to generate a quote: location, price, size, and medium.

Why it matters

Until now, galleries choosing Artsy Shipping had no way to know what that shipping would actually cost a collector at checkout. Now, you can see that cost upfront, so you can choose Artsy Shipping or set a flat fee with real numbers instead of guesswork.

The result: more informed pricing decisions for you, and fewer surprises for collectors at checkout.
