Bulk Import Updates: Upload Multiple Images, Edit As You Go, and More

We just made Bulk Import faster and easier—starting with the ability to upload multiple images at once, our most-requested feature.

What’s new:

Upload multiple images along with artwork details. Plus, update settings in fewer steps with less manual cleanup later.
Edit as you go. Easily adjust fields, settings, and visibility during import.
Upload with confidence. Catch duplicates, add missed details, and ensure your listings are collector-ready before they go live on Artsy.

How it works:

Import images in bulk

Add image filenames to your spreadsheet under an “Image Files” column.
To add multiple images: separate filenames with a comma or vertical divider ( | ).
Order them how you like—or reorder later in the flow or on the Artwork page.
Upload image files matching the spreadsheet filenames.

💡 Works with spreadsheets or .csv files (not PDFs). Don't want to add filenames to your spreadsheet? You can also upload multiple images directly in the Review & Confirm step.

Delete listings before importing

In “Review & Confirm,” right-click a row to remove an artwork.
Great for duplicates or works you’re not ready to upload.

Edit settings (individually)

Adjust location, currency, and units (e.g., inches/cm, lbs/kg) for individual artworks Or update settings for individual artworks within “Review & Confirm.”
