Listing Scores bring Artsy’s insights about what helps artworks perform online directly into CMS. They guide you in creating strong, complete listings by highlighting opportunities to add or refine the details that help works surface in search, recommendations, and other discovery experiences—and give collectors the details they look for when engaging with a work.

Whether you’re publishing new artworks or revisiting existing listings, Listing Scores make it easier to know where to focus, without the guesswork.

How it works

Each artwork listing receives a simple score along with clear guidance on where it could be strengthened. As you save updates—such as adding images or artwork descriptions—scores refresh automatically, so it’s easy to see progress over time.

Each artwork is labeled as Excellent, Good, or Missing Key Details, giving you a quick sense of how complete a listing is and where there’s room to strengthen it. Scores are designed as guidelines and can always be improved over time.

Spot opportunities to improve your artwork listings

From the Artworks page, you can filter by Listing Score to quickly see where artworks could benefit from a few more details. This makes it easier to decide which works to focus on—whether you’re preparing for an upcoming show or revisiting older listings.

Use Listing Scores when publishing new works, refreshing existing listings, or checking in on how your artworks are presented over time.
